The Pajara or Trullo Leccese is the most characteristic structure of our Borgo. Unlike the Trulli of Alberobello which have a pointed roof, the “Trullo Leccese” is characterized by a flat roof and its facing in stone. In the past these structures were used as deposits to arrange the tools of the peasants, while today they have been transformed into comfortable lodgings. These are mostly studios where you can find a large bathroom and a porch equipped with table and sofas to watch the sunset surrounded by nature among citrus and olive trees.
